Under the direction of studio owner Alyssa Lee Kornegay, To the Pointe Academy of Dance (TTPAD) is located in Turkey, North Carolina. TTPAD offers a diverse range of dance styles and techniques for dancers of all ages and skill levels. The classes available include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Clogging, Hip-Hop, Acro, and Competition Classes. Whether your child is pursuing dance for personal enjoyment, building self-confidence, learning teamwork and dedication, or aspiring to become a professional dancer, TTPAD has a class suited to their needs.

As both the studio owner and instructor, Alyssa Lee Kornegay is passionate about sharing her love of dance while providing a positive and nurturing environment. Her goal is to foster personal growth, build self-esteem, and instill the values of teamwork and dedication in every student.

Located in Turkey, NC, near the train tracks, To the Pointe Academy of Dance is conveniently accessible from surrounding areas, just a short drive from Warsaw (8 minutes), Clinton (12 minutes), Kenansville (21 minutes), Mount Olive (24 minutes), Wallace (27 minutes), and Garland (27 minutes).

TTPAD is often described as a warm, welcoming space with a homely spirit. Our dancers share a common purpose: to further their dance education while appreciating the beauty and artistry of dance.

The facility boasts a spacious dance studio, main lobby, studio store, and prop-making room. Our dance studio is equipped with Harlequin Spring Flooring, mirrors, and ballet barres. This high-quality flooring reduces the risk of injuries to feet, ankles, knees, and backs, ensuring the safety of our dancers. Additionally, we provide professional tumbling mats for our acro students to ensure a safe training environment.

TTPAD offers both recreational and competitive dance programs. Our competition team participates in regional dance competitions each spring. To join this prestigious team, students must attend mandatory summer competition classes and audition. The competition team is designed for dancers who wish to expand their dance experience and explore the competitive dance world. For those interested in recreational dance, we offer weekly classes in a variety of styles and techniques for dancers of all ages and abilities. Recreational dancers will have the opportunity to perform in the spring dance recital.
