*Under the direction of studio owner Alyssa Lee Kornegay, To the Pointe Academy of Dance is located in Turkey, North Carolina. TTPAD offers a variety of dance styles and techniques to dancers of all levels and ages! Classes offered are: Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Clogging, Hip-hop, Acro, and Competition Classes. Whether your child is  interested in the art of dance, gaining self confidence, learning about team work and dedication, or one day becoming a professional dancer, TTPAD offers a class for them.    

*As a studio owner and instructor, Alyssa Lee Kornegay hopes to share her love of dance while providing a positive environment for her students to grow leaps and bounds, build self esteem, and teach her dancers about team work and dedication. 

*To the Pointe Academy of Dance located in Turkey NC on the train track, is just a short drive from Warsaw (8 minutes), Clinton (12 minutes), Kenansville (21 minutes), Mount Olive ( 24 minutes), Wallace (27 minutes), and Garland (27 minutes).

*Our facility is open to anyone and everyone interested in dance. We do not discriminate against gender, ethnicity, background, or social class. We have a wide variety of diversity in our studio and welcome all students ready to learn with open arms. 

 

*To the Pointe Academy of Dance is often referred to as a warm welcoming environment with a homely spirit. Our dancers are all here for the same reason, and that is to further their dance education and appreciate the beauty and the art of dance.  

 

*TTPAD has a spacious facility including the dance studio, main lobby, studio store, and prop making room. Our facility includes a spacious dance studio equipped with Harlequin Spring Flooring, mirrors, and ballet barres. Our Harlequin Sprung Flooring reduces the risk of feet, ankle, knee, and back injures when dancing. To assure our dancers stay safe during all classes offered at TTPAD, we are equipped with professional tumbiling mats for our students taking acro.

*TTPAD offers classes in recreational and competitive dance. We have a competition team that will compete in dance competitions during the spring. To be on this prestigious team your child must attended the mandatory competition summer classes and audition. Company is for the dancers wanting to broaden their horizon of dance and experience the competitive side of the dance world. Recreational dance classes are weekly classes offered in a variety of dance styles and techniques for all ages and abilities. Recreational dancers perform in the spring dance recital.
